An Evening With Hailey Whitters

The Ellington Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the 2021 Ellington Concert Series! Singer-songwriter(s) Hailey Whitters, Nate Fredrick and Jed Melton will be featured at this year’s event. The concert will be held at Barn at the Hamptons, on Saturday June 19th. Gate will open at 6:00pm with performances beginning at 7:30pm.

Raised in a small-town in Iowa, Whitters moved to Nashville to pursue a career in country music. She established herself as an in-demand songwriter, with artists/song-writers including Alan Jackson, Little Big Town, Martina McBride and Lori McKenna. In 2019 Whitters debuted her breakout song, “Ten Year Town”, which reflects on the 12 years she spent to “make it” in Nashville. Thanks in part to the success of “Ten Year Town”, Whitters began to gain the attention of other artists, including Maren Morris, Brent Cobb and Jordan Davis, whom she has all toured with. Recently Whitters collaborated with artists Little Big Town “Fillin’ My Cup”, Trisha Yearwood “How Far Can It Go?” and Jordan Davis “The Ride”, all released in late 2020 and early this year. 2021 is shaping up to be big year for Whitters: She’s headed out on the road for several shows and will open in July for Jon Pardi.

Nate Fredrick, originally from Springfield Missouri, is a Nashville singer-songwriter with a Bluesy Americana tone. He released his new album, Different Shade of Blue in February 2021, featuring “Paducah” and “Love Someone”. Playing the guitar since he was 12 years old, Fredrick found himself at home writing music. Fredrick attributes his bluesy Americana style to influences such as Guy Clark, Creedence Clearwater Revival and Van Morrison.

Piedmont native Jed Melton, is a singer-songwriter with true country roots; listen to his new song “Ozark Summer” just released on Spotify, iTunes, Amazon, iHeart and local radio.

Barn at The Hamptons is a barn venue in a country setting. With a capacity of only 200, the Barn provides an intimate and exclusive concert experience for both fans and artists alike.
